Charlemagne Dobermanns have been specialists in top world-class Dobermann bloodlines since 1976. As the oldest and most highly awarded Dobermann breeders in Africa, we focus on nurturing only the best genetics. Built on the love, passion and extensive knowledge of JC Peters from Trustdore Dobermanns, we humbly accepted to carry on the legacy of the world famous bloodlines of Simone Del Diamante Nero and Crystal ‘Cristo’ Grareva.
Known for our impeccable export quality Doberman genetics including Del Nasi, Grareva, Del Diamante Nero and Pride of Russia, we actively strive for further develop several key characteristics including the highly sought-after and unique head type, strong intelligent presence, smooth body, elegant movement and highly intelligent and friendly personality.
Why ‘Charlemagne’?
Charlemagne, aka Charles the Great, was a powerful warrior king of royal descent who defended the Christian faith and united Europe. Charlemagne developed education and brought an end to the Dark Age in Western Europe. He also spread Christianity in his vast empire and made it the main religion.
Known as the ideal warrior chief, Charlemagne embodies the essence of the Doberman breed with an imposing presence, extraordinary energy, courage, and an royal blood. He loved campaigning, hunting, and swimming, but was also quite at home in the courts of kings and adept at establishing friendships.
